1. Smokey Robinson: March 1st and 2nd at 8:00 pm/ Wynn Las Vegas
The great Smokey Robinson is set for special performances in Las Vegas. A superstar singer-songwriter and record producer who helped define the Motown Sound, Smokey Robinson will make his Wynn Las Vegas debut with a new show, Live in Vegas! Robinson’s impressive collection of hits songs and exciting live shows over the years have solidified the Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famer’s place at the forefront of popular music for more than four decades. Don’t miss your chance to see Smokey Robinson live in Vegas, performing classic Motown hits like “You’ve Really Got a Hold On Me,” “I Second That Emotion” and “The Tears of a Clown.”
Coming to prominence first as a member of The Miracles, Robinson also helped co-found the iconic music label Motown with Berry Gordy Jr. and went on to produce 26 top-40 hits. Robinson is also famous for his songwriting and producing talents, having worked with some of Motown’s finest artists. 3. The Righteous Brothers: March 5th, 6th, 7th, 19th, 20th, 21st/ Harrah’s Showroom at Harrah’s Las Vegas
The Righteous Brothers were originally an American musical duo of Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield. They began performing together in 1962 in the Los Angeles area as part of a five-member group called the Paramours, but adopted the name “The Righteous Brothers” when they embarked on their recording career as a duo. Their most active recording period was in the 1960s and 70s, and although the duo was inactive for some years, Hatfield and Medley reunited in 1981 and continued to perform in this formula until 2003. Aersomith is bringing rock and roll to Las Vegas with their “Deuces Are Wild” residency at the Park Theater.
