SubCulture, NYC’s newest underground arts venue, is excited to host a performance by The Persuasions on Monday, Jan 20^th.

Dubbed the “Kings of A Cappella”, The Persuasions have blessed the music industry for over 50 years with their incredible soul-blues inspired voices. The group has performed alongside legends like Frank Zappa, Bruce Springsteen, Richard Pryor, Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder.

Hailing from Brooklyn, their eclectic sound is a merge of gospel, soul, and pop. For over 50 years, their unique music has allowed the group to perform in nightclubs and concert halls nationwide. They have released 26 albums, received airplay on FM radio alongside The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, and worked with many great names in the music industry like Stevie Wonder, Little Richard, Van Morrison, Lou Reed, Gladys Knight, among others. With all of their success, The Persuasions are dedicated to staying true to their music and their fans.
